Our Shared Commitment “May the God who gives you endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth, you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 1:5-6 It is our deep desire at Camp Harlow to cultivate an environment where unity in ministry is a high priority. We strive to have a ministry team that is committed to growing in their personal walk with God and seeks to live for the benefit of others and the glory of God. Unity of ministry is a product of having a shared belief, shared commitment, and shared purpose. Unity takes place when gifted and willing individuals, who are called by Him, serve and love with a heart for God and others.
CAMP HARLOW/FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe…the Bible to be the inspired, perfect, and authoritative Word of God.
We believe…that there is one God, eternally existent in Three Persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe…in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles.
We believe…that Jesus died on the cross, arose 3 days later and ascended to Heaven to reign with the Heavenly Father.
We believe…that because of the fall of man and his continuing sin, we need to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit, who lives in all believers.
We believe…that God has called Christians to a life set apart through the Holy Spirit.
We believe…in the resurrection of both the saved and lost, the saved unto eternal life and the lost unto eternal punishment and separation.
We believe…in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.
